The Republic of Moldova participated at the Strasbourg Fashion Week between May 29 and June 1. The fashion designers from Moldova participated for the first time at such an event.

At the event there were presented collections of Vivi Art Boutique Fashion, Ionel, Kassandruta, Creme Brulee, Georgette, Katea GRI and Lia Fia and at the event there were presented collections of Julia Allert and Lavielace. During the runway presentation, people were taking Moldovan wines Chateau Vertely. 

The Parliament representative of Moldova to the European Council, Corina Calugaru thanked the organizations, the local authorities of Strasbourg and the national partners, mentioning that Grande Salle de l’Aubette hosted such an event a couple of days ago.

"Republic of Moldova continues to bring great examples of national fashion designers here", said the Republic of Moldova representative in Strasbourg.

The delegation of the designers from Moldova participated to a meeting of journalists, bloggers, local representatives, among whom the President of the Commerce Chamber, the director of Printemps, the President of "Les Vitrines des Strasbourg".
