Freight and passenger carriers from Republic of Moldova will be able to circulate bilaterally, transit, as well as in/from other countries in Belarus without authorization. The Government approved today the signing of the Protocol on the modification and completion of the Moldovan-Belarus intergovernmental agreement on international car traffic.
This will boost Moldovan-Belarusian cooperation relations in the field of road transport and facilitate the exchange of goods and travel of people from both countries.
Transport liberalization will also reduce operational costs and increase the competitiveness of road transport operators at regional level.
The draft protocol was examined at the joint meeting of the Moldovan-Belarusian joint commission on international road transport, which took place on 4 June 2018 in Minsk.
