A 34-year-old citizen of Moldova, on an international arrest warrant, was arrested by Romanian Law Enforcement at Albiţa Customs.

The man was a passenger on a minibus.

"During the Customs control, officers established that an international arrest warrant was issued by authorities from Republic of Moldova on the name of the young man. The suspect was wanted for various thefts on Moldova's territory" shows a press release of  ITPF IAŞI.

The man was handed over to a team from Vaslui Criminal Investigation Service.
