Moldovan Government decides to amass public services in one stop shop
The Cabinet has decided to create the Public Services Agency -- a one stop shop amassing most state-run public agencies.
It thus plans to decrease the tariffs and prices of the services it sells to citizens.
"Our effort is not just to bring all the services into a single stop shop, we also want to change the processes. The number of public services must be smaller. All the data are contained into the state registers and the certificates may be issued without the citizen’s involvement. Speaking about fighting the red tape and corruption, the real fight is waged by moves of this type. It’s a clear blow to bureaucracy and corruption," Premier Pavel Filip said.
The Public Services Agency has been created in accordance with the Public Administration Reform.
