The humorist and director George Urschi is celebrating his birthday today, January 18th. The master of jokes, so called by colleagues, celebrates 69 years.

The artist, who six years ago suffered a stroke, will be honored by relatives and friends who will congratulate him at home.

Although he has health problems, friends say the actor feels much better.

Gheorghe Urschi is a member of the Theatre Union and the Writers Union of Moldova.

Four years ago, the former head of state Nicolae Timofti has honored him with "People's Artist" title for his creative activity.
