Most of Moldovan insurance companies were fined by the National Commission of Financial Market (CNPF). The sanctions were imposed because they have not met the deadline for payment of compensation and preparing the minutes on prejudice.
They also incorrectly stated value of damages caused by vehicles.
Thus, 14 insurance companies from 16 have received fines from 1,500 to about 48,000 lei.
The biggest penalties were applied to Transelit, Moldasig and Galas.
Three other companies were fined just over 40,000 lei.
Among them are companies Garantie, Donaris Group and Alliance Insurance Group.
