Moldovan low-cost air carrier FlyOne to start flights to Birmingham
Moldovan low-cost air carrier FlyOne said on Wednesday it will launch a new route from the country's capital Chisinau to UK's Birmingham starting June 6.
This will mark the beginning of FlyOne's operations at Birmingham International Airport, the air carrier said in a press release.
Fly One will operate three times a week from Birmingham, using a 144-seat Airbus A319 each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
“We wish that our three-times weekly scheduled flight that will connect Birmingham to Chisinau starting from June 6th, will be welcomed and fully utilized by both our territories to possibly foresee growth and durable collaboration," FlyOne's general manager Nicu Berla, said.
Currently, Fly One flies from Chisinau to Moscow, St Petersburg and Voronezh (Russia), Milan, Parma, Verona and Venice (Italy), Lisbon (Portugal), Barcelona, Valencia (Spain), Dublin (Ireland) and Paris (France).
