Moldovan Premier and Monaco Prince outline cooperation priorities
At a joint media briefing, Prime Minister Pavel Filip has dubbed Monaco’s Prince Albert’s visit to Moldova as historic, offering momentum to the bilateral cooperation, allowing for identifying opportunities to fully capitalize on the cooperation potential.
The Premier has appreciated Monaco’s aid in fighting human trafficking and supporting Moldovan children, underscoring joint projects prove the commitment to develop a strategic partnership.
Pavel Filip has expressed interest to start cooperating in environment and has thanked Albert II for his intention to instruct his environment foundation to help to restore Chisinau’s Botanical garden.
It was severely damaged by the heavy snowfalls later in April.
"Through the agency of the Foundation, we’ll promote joint projects in environment. I appreciate the dialogue we’re having, which contributes to Monaco and Moldova getting closer," said Monaco’s Prince.
They have paid special attention to the economic-commercial cooperation, underscoring the importance of the first business forum among the entrepreneurs from the two countries.
