The Moldovan President has also congratulated the women on the occasion of the International Women’s Day.

In a video message he said: "Woman stays at the beginning of all grand things. Dear women, let me congratulate you on the occasion of the International Women’s Day. Thank you for everything you do".

He also posted on social media he decorated eight women for remarkable work in their fields, adding he wants to make a tradition out of it.
