Moldovan producers could export to Norway without taxes

The possibilities of signing a Free Trade Agreement within the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) were examined by Prime Minister Pavel Filip and Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg. The meeting took place in New York in the margins of the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
In order to boost bilateral trade, prime ministers agreed to organize missions of Norwegian businessmen in our country.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip expressed gratitude for the technical assistance provided by Norway to the Republic of Moldova in reforming the justice and home affairs sector, combating trafficking in human beings, and engaging in work for people with special needs.
The charity work carried out in our country by the Norwegian organization Help Moldova, which supports socially vulnerable families, renovates hospitals and kindergartens.
Prime Minister Erna Solberg said that Norway will continue to support Moldova's efforts to modernize the country and align it with European standards.
EFTA includes Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway. The Republic of Moldova and the EFTA member states signed the joint declaration of cooperation in 2017, and this year, the first Joint Committee of EFTA - Republic of Moldova was held in Chisinau.
