Moldovan sportsman having prosthetic leg registered record at marathon in Italy
Constantin Bostan Moldovan sportsman who runs at many marathons even though he has a prosthetic leg. Within a race organized in Italy, the sportsman run 86 kilometers. He was the only participant with a disability.
Constantin tells that he set the target to run on a distance of 100 km, but he must have stopped because of some wounds.
"It was hard. The first 50 kilometers I should have run on the hill", explained the sportsman.
On longer than 40 km distances, the sportsman uses some special walking stick.
"Every time people say "Hi, champion". They consider I am their brother", said Constantin.
The athlete does not only run for himself, but also for a noble purpose.
"I want to gather money for the children who suffer of cancer."
In 2017, Constantin run on a distance of 42 kilometers within Chisinau International Airport.
The Moldovan is found of sports since he was a child, but he suffered these issues since the age of 2. He also practiced karate and even football. In 1998, a part of his leg was amputated. Constantin lives in Italy for more than ten years, but since 2013, he started to practice the sports on long distances.
Besides this, he works as a social assistant. The man says that this summer he will prepare for a new race that will also take place in Italy. He wants to run 120 kilometers.
