A man from the southern district of Cantemir, who savagely slaughtered his three sons, was sentenced to 30 years of prison. 

After quarreling with his wife over the phone, being drunk, the man stabbed his sons aged 1, 4 and 5. 

He then tried to kill himself, leaving a message reading he loved his wife. He then called the police.

The sentence may be appealed.
