Fruiting trees, grape cuttings and decorative plant from Moldova were banned in Russia. Sanitary authorities in Moscow have informed that pests were found in plants.
The plants were exported by five Moldovan companies, but the exact quantity of planting material prohibited by Rosselhoznadzor is not mentioned.
At the beginning of August, Moscow banned the import of about 20 tons of plums from our country, which would have been infected with moth larvae.
