Several Moldovan wineries are likely to return to the Russian market. The announcement was made by Rospotrebnadzor, the Russian quality-checking agency, whose experts verified 13 Moldovan wineries in mid-February.
The Muscovite authorities will make public the names of the companies after they process lab data.
In September 2013, Rospotrebnadzor banned the Moldovan wines, on reason of non-compliance to quality standards.
However, the embargo was not extended over wineries from the Gagauz and the Transnistrian regions.
