Anastasia Nichita was victorious in the National Championship of India in Team Battles. The Moldavian played in all 6 games and the team from which he was part, the club of Haryana Hammers from New Delhi, won the title. 

The competition gathered 6 clubs and took place for 3 weeks.

In the finals of the weight category of up to 57 kilos, Anastasia defeated the Bulgarian Mimi Hristova, the European Vice-Champion in 2018 at the senior level.

Anastasia Nichita is 19 years old and originates from the village of Tataresti, Straseni district. Last year was the most successful in her career.

The young champion has won world championship titles at "Under 23" and "Under 20" juniors, and at the European Youth Championships "Under 23", he has become Vice-Champion.

In December, Nichita was awarded with the "Talent of the Year 2018" trophy by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
