Moldovans, advised how to choose a good wine by a specialized guide
Moldovans will be advised, from now on, how to choose a good wine due to a specialized guide. It contains a description of 50 wines produced in the country, selected from 20 wine cellars. Among these are white, red, rose and sparkling wines. The guide will arrive in hotels, restaurants and tourist boarding houses.
The selection was made by a team of oenologists and sommeliers.
"Wine must not contain additives, it must be a qualitative wine that can provoke positive emotions for those who taste it." In some cases, there are also recommendations for culinary associations, so that wine is better to be consumed with a Moldovan pie, which come better associate with sushi or with colds, "said Andrei Cibotaru, author of the guide.
The guide will be also translated in English.
"A wine guide is also an instrument to communicate, to communicate between producers and consumers, and 85 percent of our wines are exported, only 15 percent remain in the country," said Ghorghe Arpentin, director of ONVV.
The Minister of Economy claims that the guide is a good way to promote local wines.
"I want to see this wine in the hotels, in the premises, in all the places that are visited by tourists but also through our Embassies, why not to find in the markets where we want to see our product", said Chiril Gaburici, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure.
On Wine Day, the guide will be presented to the public in the Great National Assembly Square and on October 5 it will be launched in Romania.
