Moldovans drink not enough water, study shows
According to a study, by the Xplane Market Research Agency, Moldovans do not get enough water. An average citizen drinks only one liter of water a day, while the recommended amount is two liters. More serious, however, is the fact that there are Moldovans there are people who do not drink water for several days in a row.
The study shows that people living in the villages drink the largest amount of water.

Physicians claim that dehydration of the body is a serious problem that can have bad consequences.
"The dehydration of the body can lead to serious conditions because there will be no metabolic activity. We may have disorders like constipation," director of the Municipal Public Health Center, Luminiţa Suveică, said.
According to doctors, the recommended standard is 30 milliliters of water per kilogram of body mass. Therefore, a person weighing 50 kg should consume one and a half liters of water daily. Specialists also caution that carbonated drinks and juices cannot replace the intake of simple water.
