The voice traffic within the mobile grid considerably dropped last year in Moldova, as compared to 2015.  The data was made public by the telecommunication watchdog (ANRCETI.)

In 2016, the Moldovans talked over the phone about 6 billion 200 million minutes. It’s 2% less year on year. The mobile companies’ sales also dropped by 4%, reaching 3.5 bn lei.

However the number of users was up 2% reaching over 4.42 million.
