Moldovans working abroad have sent more money last year at home. In 2018, our fellow countrymen transferred a billion 266 million dollars, up 5.6 percent from 2017. National Bank data show that only in December in Moldova reached 96 million dollars.

The fourth part of this sum was transferred by the Moldovans in Russia, Israel to Moldova amounted to 17 million lei, and the co-nationals working in Italy sent home 12 million lei. Four and five were the United States and Germany.

NBM data shows that in December the most money, over 51 percent, was raised in euro, 43 percent - in dollars, and almost six percent - in rubles.
