The Moldovans working overseas sent home almost $79 mn in February, that being 4 mn more than in January. 

The figure is also bigger than in February last year, when the Moldovans sent home $73 mn.

According to the National Bank, over 49% of the total amount lifted from commercial banks were US dollars. Almost 42 % in euro, and 9% in Russian rubles.

In 2016, the overseas Moldovans sent nearly $1.08 mn home.
