Moldovan industrial output in May 2017 increased by 7,0% compared to the corresponding month of 2016 due to a strong advance in extraction industry (rises 28,2%), according to national statistical office. 

April witnessed a 9.3% drop, indicated statistics. 

In the first five months of 2017, Moldova's industrial output rose 0.3% on the year.
