President Nicolae Timofti, Parliament speaker Andrian Candu, premier Pavel Filip and Culture minister Monica Babuc have signed an ‘In memoriam’ note for the deceased artist Anatol Dumitraş.

“Anatol Dumitraș is and will remkain a symbol for us – one of the creators of the national light music heritage. His songs will linger for a long time in the public’s memory.

We express sincere regrets for this loss and send our condolences to the mourning family, friends and admirers. May God rest him in peace!" reads the necrology note.
