Moldova's Premier insists on speeding up Action Plan in pharmaceutical sector
Prime Minister Pavel Filip has convened today the representatives of the entities responsible with implementing the Action Plan on solving problems in pharmaceutical area.
The Premier has warned that the Cabinet’s key objective in this area is to make order on the medicines market so as to let the citizens freer access to qualitative drugs at reasonable prices
Pavel Filip has shown himself displeased that several actions from the Plan have not been accomplished. One of them was increasing by 50% the list of medicines compensated by the government. The Prime Minister has asked the Health Ministry and the Medication Agency to approve of and publish a new list of compensated medicines.
Registering the prices of the drugs is another problematic issue. The Premier has asked for a clear-cut specification of the competences of different entities in order to prevent bottlenecking.
Pavel Filip has demanded that all measures should be undertaken in order to carry out centralized acquisitions. He has insisted to inform everyone related on the Government’s programs in the field.
