Petru Carare writer aged 84 died this morning. Monica Babuc, the Minister of Education, Culture and Research wrote a Facebook post to express condoleances to his family.

"It is a big grief. He was the person who proved what does the courage and talent means. He enriched our culture. We should thank him for promoting our values condolences", writes Monica Babuc.
