(UPDATE 11:41) Six persons are detained up to this hours. Five of them are inspectors of Sculeni border, the director of the Central headquarter and two intermediaries.

National Anti-Corruption Center and the prosecutors started the searches as Sculeni (Ungheni) customs and the headquarter of the Customs Service.

NAC's spokesman confirmed that the investigation started within a bribery criminal file. Five persons have already been detained. Among them there is a director of the Customs Service.
