The anti corruption prosecutors started to investigate the Institute of Mother and the Child.

The searches started because of a bribery file.

The information was confirmed by Angela Starinschi, spokesman of NAC.

Among the suspects, there is Nicolae Doni, the chief of Radiology and Imaging Section of the Republic Center of Checking. 14 people are suspected of bribery and influence peddling.

Within the searches, NAC officers seized great amount of money worth 7.000.000 lei. The money was kept in two banks from the Capital.
