Over 1700 kg of meat was confiscated and destroyed by National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA).

Experts have performed controls in a company specialized in producing meats and cold meats from Nicoreni village, Drochia.

Searches have revealed that the products lacked certificates of origin and quality assurance documents. A part of the products were also expired. The entrepreneur was sanctioned with 7 500 lei.
