National Bank of Moldova teaches people how to manage money correctly
The majority of the money that come in the country are spent and just a small amount is invested.
The National Bank in partnership with Expert-Group launched "Spend your money rationally" campaign that will teach people how to manage their incomes.
This means to take the right decision when it comes to a loan or an auto leasing.
"We want to help people take the right decision in the financial field. We will make them understand the risks and the financial opportunities", mentioned Octavian Armasu, BNM governor.
"The financial stability depends on how right the decision are taken", highlighted Adrian Lupusor, deputy director of Expert-Grup.
For the beginning, the target group is made of young. Vlada Screlea from Ciorescu came at her meeting of such kind. After the training, she wants to open a business.
"I would like to find out how the bank system from Moldova was made. As a customer, I would like to know how to benefit of better loans and how could I defend my rights", said Vlada Screlea, student.
Other young are also interested in this project:
"It is very important for us to know how should be money managed", pointed out Dumitru Ursu, the president of the Banker's League.
The persons who initiated the program hope that a national education strategy will be launched.
