In the context of the recent actions of the investigative bodies, the National Bank of Moldova welcomes the openness of the Victoriabank management. 

According to a statement issued by the NBM, in recent times, "Victoriabank" has registered a positive dynamic of modernization and alignment with international standards.

"Victoriabank is part of the extensive reform process carried out in recent years in the banking sector, through which it has improved its activity in several strategic chapters: shareholder transparency, corporate governance, compliance with prudential rules, risk management. This development was an important signal for internationally renowned investors, including Banca Transilvania, a fact appreciated and supported by the development partners of the Republic of Moldova ", according to the communiqué.

PUBLIKA.MD reminds that the General Prosecutor's Office confirmed, following the request of the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office, that the court applied seizure on several assets of a commercial bank worth 1.9 billion lei. According to deschide.md, the seized goods would belong to Victoriabank.
