National rugby team will play against the Netherlands on Saturday
The national rugby team of Republic of Moldova will debut on Saturday within the new edition of the Rugby Europe Trophy, former Europe Cup of the Nations. The ''Tricolorii'' will meet the representative of the Netherlands in Orhei.
The players prepare for the match in Cosnita village, Dubasari district, under the leading of Romanian Constantin Vlad.
The Romanian technician trained teams from his native city, Suceava for more than 20 years. Also, he trained the Romanian team of young.
''I hope everything will be fine. The boys are very disciplined and have a positive attitude'', said Constantin Vlad.
''It will be a little bit harder, but we should try anyway. We have new players and make the all possible to win the match with the Netherlands'', said Alexandru Colev, rugby player.
In the match with the Netherlands, Moldovan team will use new players. According to the leading of the sport federation, Vadim and Maxim Cobalas brothers refused to play, Victor Arhip and Andrei Mahu didn't have the approval of their team to play this match and Oleg Prepelita suffers after an accident.
''All the opponents are difficult. The teams are in progress. At this moment, we changed our generation. We are the new leading and we will make everything step by step'', said Alexei Cotruta, the President of FM Rugby.
''We have many new players now. We should work with them. We need time to teach them to play better. I think that at this moment we should remain in the 1B group'', said Veaceslav Titica, ruby player.
After the match with the Netherlands, there will be other two matches this month. On November 18, Moldovan team will play in Gdansk, Poland and after a week in Orhei with the Swedish team.
