The unemployment rate continues to decrease in Republic of Moldova. National Bureau of Statistics has shown that in the first three months of the year were registered 48 000 unemployed people, by 27 000 less than in a similar period in 2017.
The unemployment rate in Moldova went down to 4.1% in the first trimester of 2018, having decreased by 2.2%.
Men have a harder time finding a job, 4.7% of them lacking a workplace.
While among women, only 3.5% are unemployed.
Statistics also show that most unemployed people live in cities.
