The best policeman is your neighbor. With this slogan, the General Police Inspectorate has launched the campaign to promote the Neighborhood Surveillance program.

The Neighborhood Surveillance project was launched in 2015 and has already been implemented in 1,000 villages across the country.

Moldova has taken this practice from countries like Estonia, Sweden and the USA.
