By the end of the year, Chisinau citizens will have chance to use new buses which cost City Hall a budget of 20 million lei. 

At the auctions organized by the municipality participated four companies from abroad.

Economic agents are proposing to deliver to the municipality nine vehicles from China, six from Romania or eight from Belarus.

The winning company will be nominated in three weeks.

For the first time, buses will be installed air-conditioners and ramps for disabled people.

"These are the main requirements for bus facility," said Iacob Capcelea, director of Urban Bus Park.

At present, a bus from Romania is tested on the roads in Chisinau. It is equipped with all the conveniences.

In the Urban Bus Park there are 135 vehicles for passenger transport. 80% of them have the out-of-date exploitation period.
