New development opportunities at the Youth Festival, where several NGOs in the country presented their volunteer offers.
The teenagers had the opportunity to have fun, but also to find a job.
The Curiosities queued at the stands of the non-governmental organizations on the pedestrian street "Eugen Doga" in downtown Chisinau. They say volunteering is an opportunity to create new career relationships.
"I am very interested here, organizing these NGOs, the events that take place, their services, and I like the diversity, that's what I see here."
"They are very attractive, those who talk about human rights, about the international, about jobs, and next year I want to be a volunteer at this festival."
"This festival is very exciting and I see there are a lot of young people in it. Indeed, there are youth NGOs that have amazed me through their programs."
"They have the opportunity to develop first and receive volunteer cards. The experience you accumulate is inscribed in this volunteer's book, which may later be a workplace", said NGO representative Petru Grecu.
"We offer the program for leaders to train young people how to recycle, how to organize cleanliness in their locality, how to be part of the organization", said NGO representative Taisia Camenscik.
This year, the generic event is "Safe for Young People".
"It is about the safety of young people both at home and in society, online and offline. The festival aims to promote their participation in decision-making", said UNICEF Moldova representative Margarita Tileva.
The craftsmen took the opportunity and came to promote their work.
"I came up with what I can do best with natural leather pieces. That's the most important thing that so many young people have gathered together and they can make you more knowledge", said the master, Radu Butuc.
"Necklaces, earrings. Let's show the youth what can be done when it is desire, patience and talent", Nina Turcanu said.
The festival was organized by UNICEF Moldova and supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
"It is an opportunity for young people and us to discuss, to listen to them and to understand them better", said the state secretary at the Ministry of Education, Radu Rebeja.
The Youth Festival is organized for the fourth year.
