Prime Minister, Pavel Filip and Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko attend the inauguration ceremony of the Moldovan-Ukrainian border crossing point "Pervomaisc-Cuciurgan".
From now, there will be only one control filter, instead of two, as in most Moldovan customs.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip has pleased European partners for their support in this project.
Likewise, this common crossing point is served as the interest and comfort oriented to the citizens and economic agents on the left bank of the Dniester River. This does not impose a blockade which was alleged by the Tiraspol leaders, according to the Prime Minister.
The project was implemented with the support of the EU. Its purpose was to modernize border management on European best practices.
At present, joint control of the Moldovan-Ukrainian border is carried out at four customs stations, including "Giurgiulesti-Reni" and "Criva-Mamăliga".
