The law that established the ceiling prices of the fuel will be modified once in three months after it entered into force.

The new rules should be respected by the National Agency for Energy Regulation, the agency in charge with the fuel prices before.

The document was published in the Official Monitor and notices that ANRE has the right to intervene only in the case of deviations of more than 10% of the average quotations on the Platts Platform, related to the exchange rate of the National Bank.

Now, the economic agents who will establish higher prices than the ones of ANRE will be sanctioned.

The most recent ceiling prices were established in July 24. One liter of diesel costed 19 lei and 1 ban, while one of gasoline 16 lei 89 bani.
