New Urgent Care Center opened in Ciutuleşti
Ambulance will arrive faster to those ill in Ciutuleşti village, Floreşti district. An Urgent Care Center was inaugurated in the settlement. Doctors will also take care of another seven settlements from the district.
"We have all the necessary conditions to work comfortably. I wish to thank the authorities of Republic of Moldova, National Center for Emergency Care, as well as Ciutuleşti City Hall, which brought this idea into reality" doctor's assistant, Ludmila Bulboacă said.
13 residents of Ciutuleşti village have already found employment. A man that for many years drove a minibus, will now drive an ambulance.
"We thank the authorities and Mayor. You allowed 13 families to have a stable income. May you continue opening such projects in our village, so that at least one person from each family will be employed" ambulance driver from Ciutuleşti village, Vitalie Socolovschi said.
The ambulances have all the necessary equipment for doctors to offer required first aid.
Villagers are happy that they will no longer wait for hours for help to arrive:
"We used to wait 30 minutes to an hour. I believe now an ambulance can arrive in 10 minutes. It will be great for ill children and elders."
"We are happy that help can be offered on the spot. We will no longer need to wait for an ambulance to arrive from Floreşti."
To renovate the center were spend 2.4 million lei. The money were offered by Center for Prehospital Medicine.
"We plan to soon open another center in Copanca, Căuşeni. We will also inaugurate a center in Brăneşti, Orhei. As well as in Stoicani, Soroca. I believe that by the end of April all of them will already be opened" IMSP deputy director, Vasile Cucu said.
The opening ceremony was also attended by a few deputies.
"I hope that we will remain just as many for the next activity. One km of road will be repaired in your settlement, I believe even this summer" PDM deputy, Eugeniu Nichiforciuc declared.
"Not only are centers repaired and build, but ambulances are also acquired. In 2018, the Government has offered 273 million lei for the purchase of new ambulances" PDM deputy, Boris Golovin announced.
Since 2016 and to this moment in Moldova were opened 7 new Urgent Care Center, while another 15 were renovated.
