Nicolae Negru about IMAS survey: We have to admit that DPM has made more efforts to be liked by voters
Newpaperman of "Ziarul National" newspaper, Nicolae Negru says he is not surprised by voters' preferences, raised in the survey presented yesterday by IMAS.
Moreover, the analyst argues that it would be understandable why the Democratic Party is growing in favor and the Party of Action and Solidarity and the DA Platform are falling.
"We have to admit that the DP has made more efforts to please the voters - "good roads", "the first house", pension review, reform of the wage system ..., although it has shaken the" democracy. "But this problem, as according to the IMAS survey, is not in the list of the biggest problems faced by Moldova", said Nicolae Negru.
According to him, the right-wing opposition has approached with less "energy" the problems faced by people. "Our citizens consider that the government must be concerned about unemployment, corruption, low wages, excessive migration, poor economy..., problems that the opposition addressed with less energy, focusing on canceling elections in Chisinau."
Nicolae Negru does not rule out that some citizens may even like the DPM leader's style of Government: "Some citizens may like Plahotniuc's style of Government, which somehow imitates Putin, assigning him the role of "daddy" of Moldovan people. His rating grows slowly but surely".
Negru, who examined IMAS's survey, says there are other indications that the government is looked up with better eyes than before.
"The number of those who consider that Moldova is moving in the wrong direction, the number of those who think they live better and who appreciate the work of the Government of Filip (38%) is decreasing, the share of the pessimists is decreasing optimists, "the quoted source concluded.
IMAS poll data show that four parties would accede to Parliament if parliamentary elections would take place next Sunday.
It is PSRM, for which 27.1% of all interviewed, PD - 15.7% of votes, PPDA - 7.1% and PAS - 6.4% would vote. The poll was conducted between October 20 and November 9, on a sample of 1,475 people in 114 localities. The error margin is +/- 2.5%.
