Many cigarettes counters from Ciocana sector of the Capital have been removed. Among these there are some placed near schools and kindergartens. The owner of the 13 counters had the documents expired, he ignored the authorities' request, thus these were evacuated by force.

Mihail Cebanu, the owner of the counters is Liberal Party municipal council. He refused to talk with the press.

"We have already removed five counters. The beneficiary was warned before. He was urged to remove the counters by himself, but he didn't", said Nicolae Paiu, architect at Ciocana sector.

The municipality spends 2.500 lei to remove one counter. The owners can recover these after they pay for the removal works.

"We removed the counters that are place on Ciocana main streets, the ones that don't obey the non-smoking law", said Sinigla Scolnic, the branch of Ciocana sector.

The previous year, 136 counters were removed in Ciocana and approximately two thousands in Capital.
