Steep slopes, barbed wire, mud pits, water, and piles of tires. These were just a few obstacles that the participants had to pass on to the first speed racing in our country. They are among the most difficult and dangerous competitions in the world, but our "Gladiators" have shown power and resistance.
"Three, two, one ... Star! Next, gladiators!"
After escaping from the flames, the participants walked through a rubber tunnel. At the exit, the water hose was waiting for him.
After fire and water can be nothing more exciting than barbed wire, and at the end, a mud bath.
The first to finish was Andrei Vrabii. Five kilometers in just 27 minutes.
"I know I have a good physical and strength and I was sure I would win or show a good result. Yes, it was complicated", said Andrei Vrabii, the winner.
Even if they beat the most trained, the rest of the participants were impressed.
- How was the race?
- It was very easy, I expected something more difficult.
- The hardest was to run down the valley and guess where the ditches are through the grass. I've also been crooked.
The organizers say that in future editions they will come up with new ideas.
"We are pleased with this first result, we see great potential in this kind of racing, we are ready to develop the idea, to make more and more interesting obstacles", said Sergei Legheida, organizer.
Totally, 251 people participated at the race.
