The Economy Ministry is unhappy with the results the state-owned companies achieved last year.

Only seven of them generated profits totaling MDL9.5 million.

The rest of the companies incurred losses totaling MDL30 mn. 

Moldelectrica recorded the biggest profit – 5.6 million lei, the second being Centrul Tehnic pentru Securitate Industrială şi Certificare.

The list of the losers is headed by the glass-maker Fabrica de Sticlă din Chişinău, which registered a loss of MDL13.5 million.

The Economy Ministry runs 12 state-own companies and instructs their managers to undertake urgent steps to improve the situation.
