The number of Moldovans who work in Russia is lower now. According to the statistics, 357 thousand citizens are working in Russia.

The Russian experts said that the number of Moldovans who work in their country was reduced by 40%. In 2014, over 586 thousand Moldovans were working in Russia, but in 2018, only 357 thousand.

Since the number of Moldovans who work in Russia decreased, so did the transfers from Russia. According to the National Bank, the sum was reduced by a half.

Anyway, the main working attractions for Moldovans are: Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Krasnodar.
