The number of people poisoned at a funeral in Causeni district has risen to 68.
The chief from the Causeni Centre of Public Health, Andrei Kazaciok, has confirmed for Publika TV that the victims were infected with salmonella.
Now the specialists try to determine the sources of infection. The results of the investigation will be ready in a few days.
In total, approximately 100 people from Tocuz village have attended a funeral.
The doctors say that the patients are not in danger and will be discharged next week.
