The number of young enrolled in the army between October 2018 and January 2019 will be reduced. Over 800 young will be enrolled in the National Army and 400 in the Carabiners teams. Such a decision was taken by the Government.

According to the Ministry of Health, the number of young enrolled in the army will be reduced.

"They will be incorporated with 400 less troops in the armed forces and 200 lesser troops in the carabineer troops, taking into account the reforms initiated in these two structures", said Eugen Sturza, the Minister of Defense.

According to the Ministry of Defense, between April and July, 1200 young were enrolled in the National Army and 600 more in the carabiners troops.
