A nurse was kicked and stunned by a drunk patient whom she offered the first medical aid. The woman fell from the ambulance and broke her leg. The incident took place the last Friday, on January 5, in Cahul, writes Today.md.

According to a press release of the National Pre-hospital Emergency Medical Assistance Center, the AMU team was called by a passer-by. The man was 30 years old and presented an aggressive behavior, as he was drunk.

While the nurse was offering the first medical aid, the drunk man kicked and stunned her. As a result, the woman broke her leg.

Now, the nurse is in the regional hospital, while the patient was detained.

On the next days, the AMU teams were serving 2 200 patients daily. On January 7 and 8 the number of calls increased with 200.

 The emergency teams intervened in 20 accidents that had 31 victims. Other 30 persons, 26 among which required hospitalization with diarrheal diseases have also received medical care.

The emergency medical aid was offered to four persons, among whom a 14 years old child who got mushrooms poisoned.

Also, eight persons got alcohol poisoned and required medical aid. 6 of those were hospitalized.
