ODIP wants fair justice. NGO protested in front of Buiucani Court
We want a fair justice! This was the slogan of the ODIP association, who organized a flash mob in from of the Bucuiani Court.
The unionists are blamed for breaching the law when they collected the signatures for the union between Moldova and Romania, by the Center of Protecting the Personal Information. The case arrived at the instance and now the unionists say the accusation are not justified.
"We want a fair justice", said Vlad Biletchi, the President of ODIP.
"It is illegal, it is non-moral. Those breaches destroy us as an organization", said Vlad Biletchi, the President of ODIP.
"We want a fair justice and a fair trial."
"We received a fair of 40 thousand lei. It is an enormous amount of money for us, because we are a NGO and the state doesn't help us."
The flash mob was organized before the hearing. While examining the case, the unionists had shown their displeasure as some of the members couldn't assist at the hearing, because there weren't enough places in the hall.
"The ones who don't have seats should leave the hall."
"This is a public session and we have the right to assist it."
The decision of the magistrates will be announced on January 24. The unionists' lawyer says there aren't any proofs that prove their guilt.
"The case doesn't have any proofs that would prove the ODIP NGO collected and processed the personal information", said Vlad Vaicu, lawyer.
In May, the ODIP NGO evolved a big campaign of collecting signatures for the union of Moldova and Romania. After that, somebody complained at the Center for Protection of Personal Information that he was obliged to give his personal information within the process of signatures collecting.
