A new edition of "Olympic EcoFest" will take place at the end of this week in Valea Morilor park from Chisinau. On Sunday, September 29, there will be organized a race around the lake, but also many other activities, as beach volley, badminton, cyclism, taekwondo. The event targets to promote a healthy life style.

"We hope that this event will be very useful. We already have a beautiful tradition. The sports activities are welcomed", said Nicolae Juravschi, the President of CNOS.

Canoe Gold Juravschi-Reneiski cup will also take place this weekend.

"It is interesting. This year will be harder", said Oleg Nuta, rowe,

"The lake is not that good for an Olympic race. I have decided to make a race", said Nicolae Juravschi, CNOS President.

Also, these days, the capital will start the European Week of the Sport. Moldova participates at this event for the first time.

"We urged the sportive associations from the country to organize many sports activities this week", sadi Radu Rebeja, state secretary at MECC.

"Olympic EcoFest" is at its fourth edition. The members of the competitions will also plant trees in the park.
