One stop shop system set up at two checkpoints of the Moldo-Ukrainian border
Moldova and Ukraine set up joint control at other two customs checkpoints using the one stop shop system, at Giurgiulești – Reni and Palanca – Maiaki – Udobnoye.
The chiefs of the Customs Service and Border Police from Moldova signed the respective protocols with their counterparts in the northern town of Soroca yesterday.
Signing the Protocols is a means of applying the Accord signed between the two countries on March 11, 1997, concerning the organization of joint control at seven border checkpoints: Criva-Mamalyga, Medveja-Zelionaia, Larga-Kelmentsy, Briceni-Rossoshany, Cuciurgan-Pervomaisk, Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe and Giurgiulești-Reni.
Applying this type of control is a condition of Moldova’s Association Deal with the European Union and with Atomic Energy European Community.
