Only 35 deputies at the session of the Parliament. The other ones left to the canteen
Andrian Candu, the President of the Parliament asked the deputies not to leave the hall during the sessions. He asked them to be more responsible. Vladimir Voronin, the President of the Communist Party told the President of the Parliament that the number of deputies in the hall is not sufficient.
"Mr. Candu, only 34 deputies remained. You have the right to continue the session", said Vladimir Voronin, the President of PCRM.
"Let's take a five minute break. Mr. secretary, can you, please close the canteen, so the deputies will return to work", said Andrian Candu, the President of the Parliament.
Also, the chair man of the Parliament mentioned that the deputies are necessary only when they vote.
"In all the Parliaments, inclusively the US Congress or the parliament countries within the European Parliament only gather the deputies when they need their vote", said Andrian Candu, the President of the Parliament.
The deputies didn't return after the break. When they counted for the second time, there were only 45. When he counted the number of deputies, Corneliu Dudnic said:
"Mr. President, I think that the close of the canteen will be declared not constitutional."
The socialist deputies left the plenary mad, as their request haven't been discussed.
"The Parliament ignored our proposals. This is why we decided to leave the session", said Vlad Batrancea, PSRM deputy.
Because of lack of deputies, Andrian Candu announced a break and convoked the Permanent Bureau of the Parliament. This decided to vote the projects of law after these were announced.
