School optimization will be ceased thanks to solutions found by authorities. 

Accordingly, schools in small villages will be transformed into so-called branch offices of district schools. This was announced by the Minister of Education, Research and Culture, Monica Babuc, after the weekly meeting of the Democratic Party.

"Teachers, pupils remain in school who will be assigned to a district school. Therefore, it has no expenses for the administrative formula: director, accountant, study director "Babuc said.

According to the head of Education, between 2010 and 2017, over 200 schools were optimized, and other 300 ones were reorganized.

Following the review of this reform, it has been established that some decisions have not been substantiated.

Monica Babuc also says that the curriculum which is now loaded will be revised. 30 expert groups are working to adapt the curriculum to current needs.

Teachers complained they had to spend 7 hours in school and lose lots of time writing reports. 

Therefore, the Education Minister said a single document will be drawn up which will include all types of reports, and their number will be reduced by 30%.

Two weeks ago, the President of the Democratic Party, Vlad Plahotniuc, called for solutions to education improvement with priority aimed at school optimization and curriculum revision.
